It makes the hair glossy and gives nourishment to hair and scalp. It is a natural ayurvedic herb.
There are approximately 400 species of Cassia Obovata around the world. Many of these species are used in folk medicines, as anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and laxatives as well as treatment of mites, eczema and psoriasis and were recorded in the 9th and 10th century Arabic pharmacopoeia. The ground powder is composed of harvested, dried leaves of the plant. Although it has various medicinal uses, this powder is often used to condition, thicken and color the hair.
